We Didn’t Just Move Abroad. We Built a New Life.

We’re the Tillmans. A multicultural, blended, veteran family who left the U.S. to raise our kids with more freedom, more connection, and less chaos.

Since 2017, we’ve lived across Poland, Nigeria, and Mexico, with stops in Spain and South Africa. We know the beauty of life abroad—but we’ve also faced every visa question, housing hunt, kid meltown, and “are we really doing this?” moment.

In summer 2025, we tested out four countries in two months with our kids. We built a checklist, created our own trial itinerary, and ultimately chose Mexico. It wasn’t perfect—but it felt right.

Now we help families do the same.
